1930-1932 Hall of Famer Milt Johnson, All State in Baseball, Football, and Outdoor Track, later captained the University of New Hampshire freshmen and varsity football elevens. Although normally a tackle, his triple reverse 75-yard pass to Sheik Dallaire defeated Barrington in Warren High's second year of organized football, 7-0.

Early 1930s Warren Wanderers Football team included Frankie Mello, Lou Bernardo, and Jimmy Daniels. In 1930 they used a Mello touchdown to defeat the Riverside-based East Providence Coronas, 6-0. The following season they only tied their-then undefeated opponents, as Rick Vitullo was stopped on the six-inch line early in the game. (Mello and Vitullo are members of the Athletic Hall of Fame.)

1931 Boxer Jim Abbruzzeese (Abbruzzi). Prominent Warren pugilists have included Abbruzzeese, Baldy Frodyma, Satch Jamiel, the Pratte twins, and Jo-Jo Sanchas.

1931 Warren High School Football Captain Norman Salvatore. This was Hall of Fame Coach Jim McGeough's first gridiron squad; he had lettered at both Fordham and Providence College and coached the P.C. track team in his senior season. (Much later in life, Norm became Warren's Postmaster.)

1931-1936 Hall of Famer Jim McGeough, fiery Warren High School coach. His football teams won two titles (1933, 1935) and his 1936 baseball squad reached the state finals before losing to Cranston High. After leaving Warren, he held a number of teaching and administrative positions in Pawtucket.

1932 Henry Pratte, Golden Gloves Rhode Island Bantamweight Champion. (He and his twin brother Herb agreed not to fight each other; thus Henry fought in the Rhode Island competition and Herb boxed in the Southern New England event.) (In the middle of the twentieth century Henry was the Town of Warren's Police Chief.)

1932 Leo Sevigny traveled to Northern Rhode Island and joined with a number of professionals to help Chepachet down Slatersville. Batting cleanup, Hall of Famer Leo went two for three before breaking his leg and losing out on a scheduled 1933 tryout with the Boston Red Sox.
