1932 Leo Sevigny traveled to Northern Rhode Island and joined with a number of professionals to help Chepachet down Slatersville. Batting cleanup, Hall of Famer Leo went two for three before breaking his leg and losing out on a scheduled 1933 tryout with the Boston Red Sox.
