transpixel 1950 The Young (Slick) and the Old (Nick) Cariglias, both members of the Athletic Hall of Fame, played for State Championship high school baseball teams. Nick also starred for the 1942 Providence College nine that won the Eastern Collegiate Summer Championship, but Slick one-upped his older brother, playing for the 1952 Holy Cross team that captured the NCAA National title. transpixel
