Inductee Rick Jackson, ( Contributor, Class of 2024, Posthumous)

While teaching at Warren High School, Rick was Assistant Wrestling Coach for the Redskins from 1973-1976.  He was Assistant Basketball Coach in 1982, as well as a soccer coach for the School Indoor League from 1982-1984.

Rick took over the Athletic Director position in 1982 and held it until the merger of the Warren and Bristol Schools in 1993. His son Kyle is quoted as saying, he spent much of his” childhood hanging around WHS as a ball boy for soccer, setting up yard markers for football, or running the clock for wrestling”.  All in a day’s work for the AD and his family. During this same time Rick was also Athletic Association President.
