This nine that was managed by Ernie Hoar and captained by Al Regnere captured the Championship of Rhode Island Grammar Schools.

The school defeated Bristol, 13-2 and 19-6 (Per the Gazette, “wow, what a beating!”), Barrington, 15-2 and 16-4, other East Bay squads, and four or five Providence grammar schools, including the defending champion, Thayer Street School.

The champs comprised James Collins, Tony Ferriali, Henry Hayes, Ernie Hoar, Henry Makara, Terry Martin, Stanley Maxfield, John Nassar, Howard O’Brien, pitcher Al Regnere, V. Regnere, Ryan, Smus, Goodwin Turner, Max Turner, and P. Vitullo.

 Hoar and Martin are members of the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame.
